Last call!

Today is a sad day. I’ve been posting as a Contemporary Romance Café regular since the start, and now the time has come for us to say, “See you later!” But it’s not a goodbye. All of our posts will remain, so be sure to check back whenever you need to convene with the cafe crowd.

I’m so thankful to have been able to be a part of this fabulous adventure. Getting to know my fellow café writers and new readers has been an absolute pleasure.

I may not be hanging out here regularly anymore, but you haven’t seen the last of Maggie Wells. Nosiree! There’s a lot of exciting stuff happening, and I hope you all will come along for the ride with me.

Here’s what’s cooking:

First, I just had a new release on July 5th! Yay! A WILL AND A WAY is a Worth the Wait Romance – the second in a series of erotic contemporaries featuring couples well past the follies and foibles of youth. Here’s the info:

A WILL AND A WAY

What’s a nice widow like you doing in a place like this?….

Consummate ladies man Will Tarrant has made it to middle age without walking down the aisle. People think he’s anti-marriage, but he knows he just hasn’t met the right woman yet. Then he lays eyes on Southern Belle Betty Asher–in the neighborhood pub of all places. She’s new in town, perfectly gorgeous–and a perfect lady. But can Will be a perfect gentleman?…

With small town life and her cheating late husband behind her, Betty is looking forward to big city adventure. When she captures the attention of the local heartthrob, she even indulges in some hot and heavy flirtation. After all, it isn’t everyday she gets to play the merry widow. She assumes their acquaintance will end there, until a job interview lands her in Will’s office–and in his arms once more. Despite their irresistible attraction, Betty’s enjoying her freedom, while Will’s finally ready to put a ring on it. Now he’ll just have to convince her that nothing could be sweeter than being tied down–with him. . .

Then, in November, the third book in my Coastal Heat series will release—LOVE & ROCKETS

Love and rockets_final

Smart is the new sexy…

They say if you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen, but it’s not the sauce at The Pit BBQ that has Darla Kennet breaking a sweat. The sassy single mom has waited tables in Mobile for years to support herself and her daughter, Grace, and she’s never let anything get her rattled…until now.  Somehow, handsome aerospace engineer Jake Dalton has gotten under her skin.

Although they went to school together, Jake doesn’t remember much about Darla. Back then the brainiac future rocket scientist always had his head in a book. But now that a chance meeting has him helping Grace apply to space camp, he’s been pulled into Darla’s orbit. And it isn’t long before Jake and Darla have a heated meeting of their own celestial bodies. The trouble is, Jake wants more. Convincing cautious, fiercely independent Darla to trust him with her heart just may be his most challenging mission yet…

In December, I hope to re-release LONG DISTANCE LOVE – A collection of stories centered around a sexy FBI agent and a feisty hotelier.

(HANDOVER) Long Distance Love cover ebook

As for 2017, there’s another Worth the Wait Romance in the works. Look for A BOLT FROM THE BLUE from Kensington/Lyrical Press in April 2017.

After that, I have two more series in the works (official announcements coming soon!) for late 2017 and beyond! One features a trio of hot single dads, and another some sexy collegiate coaches.

So, that should keep me out of trouble for a while. Again, thank you so much for visiting us at the Contemporary Romance Café over the years. We’ve had a wonderful time sharing our stories—fictional or not—with you!
