About LIz Flaherty

Liz has decided that “new and wonderful” is a good life motto, so she’s spent the time since retiring from the post office searching out and finding stuff that fits the criteria. Parasailing, anyone? Ziplining is next on her list. She thinks.

Till Next Time

When I wrote a newspaper column, Window Over the Sink, I used to always end it that way. “Till Next Time,” waving when I typed it. I used to frown at it sometimes, wondering if it should be ‘Til Next Time, and occasionally an editor would change it to that. But I still used Till. I still waved when I typed it.

I’ve loved our time at the Café. I loved writing for Carina Press, too, which is how we all came together to begin with. We’ve watched the changes that have metamorphosed publishing, some of us gleefully and hopefully, some of us mumbling and cussing. We’ve learned from each other and about each other.

I’m going to miss the Café, but I’m everlastingly grateful to have been here.

I write for Harlequin Heartwarming now and hope that continues, but next up on my writing horizon is The Magic Stocking, my contribution to A Heartwarming Holiday, the third annual anthology that takes place in Christmas Town, Maine. The first two years’ offerings, Christmas, Actually and A Heartwarming Christmas are still available, too.

If you’re out and about, you can find me waxing eloquent at Word Wranglers, Gems in the Attic, and Harlequin Heartwarming Authors’ Blog. I hope you come by and visit.

Till next time! (I’m waving.)

THE GINGERBREAD HEART is being released tomorrow as part of A HEARTWARMING CHRISTMAS boxed set. I am annoyingly excited. Here’s an excerpt: He came into the kitchen the same time as she did, dressed only in faded jeans. It had … Continue reading
